Yes, you can hire a commercial car for 1, 2, 3 days or more and the price will by just for the selected number of days.

We can fit a ROOF RACK on the following car models:
Group C - Opel Corsa a/c
Group D - Opel Corsa CDTI
Group E - Opel Astra 1.4
Group I - Opel Astra Automatic
Group J - Opel Astra 1.4 Automatic
The price of a roof rack is 6 EUR/day with a maximum charge of 84 EUR/rental.

This excess can be reduced to nil by opting to take the excess waiver, see below under Optional Extras, we strongly recommend that you consider it.
Airport tax of 25 euro in not included in the total price for the Lisbon airport & Porto airport in Portugal and Funchal Airport & Porto Santo Airport in Madeira.

Is there an excess waiver available for the Auto Jardim Car Hire ? |

Insurance excess waiver is available at the car rental desk on pick-up at a cost of :
€ 8,50 PER DAY FOR GROUPS A, B, and C,
€ 10,00 PER DAY FOR GROUPS D, E, I and J,
€ 15,00 FOR GROUPS F, G, H and N, AND
€ 20,00 FOR THE REMAINING GROUPS.
This reduces your excess liability (deposit) described above.

What is the minimum age to rent a commercial car? |

Minimum 21 years old and one year driving experience required for groups O, P, P1 and Q. Minimum 23 years old and two years of driving experience for groups R, S, T, U, TT1, F1, F2 and F3.

What are the Insurances included in the price? |
|
|
|
|
|
| |
Insurance for Personal Damages (CDW): It covers the responsibility in case of accident for damage, collision or turn-over of the vehicle, and the Client (Driver) is always responsible for the payment of an excess, if the responsibility is imputed to him/her.
The fulfillment of the Damage Participation is compulsory, independently of the type of event.
Theft Insurance (TW): It covers the responsibility of partial or of total theft of the vehicle, with exception for any personal objects. The Client (Driver) is always responsible for the payment of the excess.
It is clients\' responsability (Driver) to make the participation to the police and the presentation of the original key of the vehicle, because if these items are not attended, the Client (Driver) is responsible for all problems occurred with the use of the vehicle.
For the commercial vehicles there is no Excess insurance, so in this case it have to by paid a deposit mentionated above.
Prices include:
Third party liability and CDW, except excess.
Replacement in case of accident or malfunction, according to general conditions.
VAT included.
Limited mileage to 5000km / month (Extra Km 0.25 euro)
Regular maintenance.

All Auto Jardim offices are opened on Sunday and Saturday.

Can I pick up a car from one location and return it to another location? |

Yes you can. Simply specify on the booking form where and when you would like the car delivered/picked up.
You will pay an one-way rental tax as follows:

How can I avoid paying the excess bail for the hire car? |

To avoid paying the excess bail the client can pay a daily insurance fee to eliminate this fee. To do so select the Full/Excess Insurance (also sometimes refered to as SUPER CDW = Collission Damage Waiver) option on the first page.

We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express.
Online you don\'t have to pay with the credit card. You will receive a voucher by email and with this paper you will pay in Auto Jardim office with cash or credit card.

Does the insurance option cover everything? |

There are 2 kind of insurances:
1. excess insurance that cover the damages of the car and in this case you don\'t have to pay any deposit for the car
2. personal insurance that cover the medical expenses for all the people in the car

At Porto city, Monday till Friday we open at 09.00 and close at 19.00. On Saturday is open from 09.00 till 13.00.

Can the car be delivered to my hotel rather than me coming to the office? |

Yes, that it is possible, if the delivery hours is during the office working time (9 AM until 7 PM).
When you do the booking online on the second page after the city name, write the exact location where you want the car to be delivered.
